Terms of Service

Last updated: June 21, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Nabu app and any related services. By installing or using Nabu, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

The app

Nabu is provided as a personal reading library. You can save articles, blog posts, and essays you have the right to access, organize them, and listen to them. You're responsible for the content you choose to import and for respecting the rights of the original publishers.

Your account

Nabu doesn't require an account. Where features depend on third-party accounts — such as your App Store account for purchases, or your iCloud account for sync — those accounts are governed by their respective providers' terms.

Credits and subscriptions

Some features use credits or paid plans. Free credits are granted at our discretion and carry no guaranteed value. Paid plans are sold through Apple's App Store and billed by Apple; refunds, renewals, and cancellations are handled by Apple under its own terms. Once an article is extracted or its audio generated, that content remains available to you even if your plan changes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Nabu to infringe copyright, to circumvent access controls on content you're not authorized to view, to scrape or overload the service, or to use it in a way that disrupts others' use. We may limit or suspend service where we believe these rules are being broken.

The service is provided as-is

Nabu and its extraction and audio services are provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee that articles will be extracted perfectly, that audio will be flawless, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will meet any particular need. We may change, limit, or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Nabu, including loss of saved articles, failed extractions, or unavailable audio. Our total liability for anything related to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past twelve months, or zero if you haven't paid anything.

Third-party content and services

Articles you save belong to their original authors and publishers. Audio and extraction may be produced by third-party AI services whose output is outside our control. You're responsible for how you use saved content and for complying with the terms of any third-party services invoked on your behalf.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
